Refugee Council Regional consultations

As part of its annual national consultations on the future of Australia’s refugee and humanitarian program, the Refugee Council of Australia will be holding a series of regional teleconferences for service providers and members of refugee communities in non-metropolitan and regional areas.

The teleconferences will explore a range of issues relating to the functioning of the program. The Council would also like to hear about positive community initiatives developed to address challenges confronting refugees establishing their new home in Australia.

This is an important opportunity to share your thoughts, suggestions and concerns about Australia’s refugee and humanitarian program.  Your feedback will contribute to the Council's submission to the Minister and Department of Immigration which will set out recommendations for the future direction of the program.

To register your participation or for further information, please don’t hesitate to contact the Council as per the details below, or visit its website.
